Always dreamed that we would be in the top 4 at the expense of the rags rather than the dippers and generally feel more warmth for L'pool as a club, but the hysteria last season reminded me just how grim things were in the '80's and I was almost wanting the rags back - be careful what you wish for.

Don't have an issue with Rodgers he is fairly straight up and though he spouts nonsense sometimes he is honest.

Wenger I am starting to dislike he cannot help make pretty pathetic and snide comments on city - they are usually though not intellegent and embarassing

Don't get all this hatred for Liverpool to be honest.

I understand they were our rivals last year and yes it pissed me off how they booed us constantly after all we had done regarding Hillsborough and they cheered when Yaya got injured (more relief on their part I think).

But the majority of Red scousers I have met have said well done for last year and wished us luck for this year, they were also embarrassed by some of their fans as we are of some of ours (pissing in sinks at Wembley)

Only one team I despise and that is the Rags always have and always will.

Pretty much sums my feelings!
I was surprised last season when they booed us....and when we play them on Monday night, it will be only natural to give them loads of stick about us winning the league/Stevie G slipping etc
But hey, thats football!
I suppose they thought (and it worked to a degree) that it would help them get the 3 points, in their quest to win the league!! (Ok so they fucked up further down the line lol)
Once the game is over, I'd like to think win/lose or draw I could have a proper bit of banter with my scouse mates...like I always do!
Some of the things I have witnessed some of our fans do over the last 20 years or so, is much worse than booing an opposing team for 90 mins! But thats just my opinion!
Thankfully, they are in the minority...and we have some wonderful supporters, a lot of whom post on here!!!

I would say that Liverpool have some of the very best and very worst supporters around.

I like Scousers, but that hardly covers all bases when it comes to Liverpool's support, especially those on the internet.

Sorry to disappoint but in my opinion the vast majority of match going red Dippers are Scum, as evidence in the 2-3 last season booing every City touch and cheering Yaya's injury and no wreaths for the Heysall 36 a tad different from Hilsborough, why is that? Plus they are always winging about something, hate them with a passion and they can not speak properly, always saying eeeeerrrrrm for about five minutes before speaking.

Vast majority? I would like to thank the city fans who gave positive feedback on the 'honest' appraisal I gave to the questions given. 'Benthblue', you are entitled to your opinion but quite frankly get over yourself with your generalisations. Did we 'all' cheer when Toure got injured-no. Whinge? we all have fans who moan about something , please don't be derogatory about where we are from, you sound like a united fan. Heysal 36, yes it should be marked. So all of us are scum....sad words as all I can say is the team we all support has a minority who will always be pricks. Some of us are just normal and gave an opinion.

Good comeback but I have to take you up on when Toure got injured, when he went down there was loud cheers, he then got subbed and got clapped off the pitch, in my opinion the only reason he got clapped was so Liverpool fans could pretend there the bestest fans in the world.
