having been to pretty much every game during those glory days I can comment. he was the best
of a bad lot.

You must have your bar set really low if you consider Dunne to be superb. Vinnie is superb Dunne is (only just) one notch up from a donkey.

I dont like it when fans have a pop at an old player, ok if that player has been slagging City of than fair do's have a pop back.
But dunnie was with us for 10yrs always tried he's best and scored some of the best own goals you'll every see !!!!
Ok by todays City he wouldnt be great but at the time i thought he was City,hope he scores another own goal today but than goes on to have a good season

Bit surprising to see some of you denigrating Dunney - apparently he had Costa in his pocket against Chelsea last week. Add that to his history with us and I rest my case. He may not be at the top table internationally, but he's still good enough for the Premier League.

He's really impressed this season. Didn't think he'd cut it but has become a fan favourite after Rio was dropped and he deserves it. True about being all over Costa last week. Wish we could have nicked points off them for you.
