Thanks to Dustin from Cartilage Free Captain from taking the time to answer the questions.

We've needed to start Michael Dawson and Vlad Chiriches in central defense, and while both are stalwart servants to the club, neither are particularly pacy and are both vulnerable to speedy defenders and balls over the top when we play our high defensive line.

Is he taking the piss? Didn't they sign Chiriches last summer?

Cheers Ric. You need to change the wording of the transfer window question. I assume the question is about the summer window, not this current one? It seemed to create confusion?

I think his point about other clubs' fans changing places with us is a truism. To far too many the fact that The Good Sheikh chose MCFC has irked a lot beyond reason, and yer know that they would reason the same as us if they had the diesel swilling about the club! Becoming more and more difficult to find the fan who isn't a hypocrite.

I thought this aswell

In my view that's a very fair and honest interview. He gives credit to the quality of our fans which is nice to hear.
The 'Petro-dollars' thing will always come up and why should we get 'pissy' about it. We won the f***ing lottery after all. If you won the lottery as an individual, every Tom Dick and Arry would say "That guy won the f***ing lottery" wouldn't they. And would they be wrong?

Also why would we play speedy defenders against them when we have Kun and Negredo ;)

Greetings from Cartilage Free Captain!

You're right, of course. This is what happens when I answer questions late at night after a couple of pints...

Chiriches and Dawson are not very pacey, so if/when we play a high line against City, the speed of your attackers are more likely to cause us problems. Dawson especially has good positioning, but if you lob a ball over his head and he's too high up the pitch it becomes more difficult for him to track back. We've given up a couple of goals this season like that already. My hope is that Vertonghen is healthy enough to start, as he can probably keep pace with the likes of Aguero and Negredo.

Good luck tomorrow, gentlemen. Do me a favor and please don't let Arsenal win the league.
