Opticians

This is what I like about Off Top. The OP asks a question and no fucker answers it, instead you get 56 posts about fuck all.

If only the OP had asked people to toss a dwarf, or was it a coin ? Can't remember.

Had appointment for eye test yesterday and they said had severe thinning of retina. Been wearing glasses for about 20 years and aged 61. Anyone else been told had this

Nope never. I'm young and have always been blessed with great eye sight.

If the optician hasn't advised you to see a GP and refer into a specialist eye doctor or see a specialist directly I'd definitely explore that to see what your options are and that this condition isn't indicative of other health concerns.

I asked my wife about this, she was a ophthalmic nurse for 40 years, first at Manchester Eye Hospital and then a Sister at Queensland Eye Hospital.....but as we'd had an argument the night before she told me to go and fuck myself.

*That last bits not true but I will ask her later.

Its a scam. I haven't been to the opticians since I was a kid, and I've never seen the inside of a hospital

When you're asked to read those ever-decreasing-in-size-letters on the wall though, I wonder why they're random and don't spell out anything? Are they worried it might be easier to guess the next letter you can't see or something? I mean why not just have the alphabet in order and then trust the guy when he says 'I know it's probably T next, but it's become blurry'
