Anyone been in June? If so whats the weather been like over there, is it as bad as some people make out with all the heat and rain etc.

Ta.

i went last year in june its mixed it was sunny and warm in the day then later on in the evenings we had thunder storms but still enjoyed it all the same!

Was there in july for 12 days and it takes a few days to get used to the heat......but as mentioned every place has a/c..........when it rains it fookin rains though ......but your dry again in minutes lol.

i worked over there for a couple of years, its hot in june but not deadly,it rains but mostly at night,to tell the truth you be glad of the rain cools the evenings down so you can drink the haed of yourself

went mid to late June last year bastard well hot but got the odd proper mad storm thrown in,good time to go as the que's are ok and went on the top rides repeatedly without much waiting...

generally hot in the day, then a rain storm in the evening. The lightening they get out there is well worth watching anyway. We found the parks a lot busy then than when we went again in August - but it rained a lot more often in Aug. If it does rain in the day, its only tends to last an hour or two. But jeeeze - it can rain

I've just booked for next August and Wife is getting all stressed at the prospect of hurricanes - someone at her work has been scaremongering about the 'hurricane season.' Anyone have any experience of August?

we had the same when wed booked for Aug two years ago - as you can see from the news now, its september that things generally get worse. It will rain in Aug - generally around 4pm. But when we were there, the american school kids had gone back to school, and the parks were a lot quieter. Then when it does rain, they close the big rides - and thats the time to go for it. The rain generally clears quickly - and the Qs have gone. You can get straight on. It does work in your favour.
Bit sticky though

they tend to miss orlando as it more to the north, so you should have no problams! maybe a have shower!

been in may and july. may was scorching everyday, july was as well but towards the end of the day say, 4 or 5ish there was probably a rainstorm for 20mins once every two days and some thunder at night. you dont really care though because once its finished its boiling again and you didnt know it had even happened.

I have been quite a few times, yes it does rain but, it soon goes off and you will be grateful for it, it does cool you down. Here isome good tips for you.

1) when you get to theme parks, and you go through the main gate, go RIGHT and do the rides that way. For some reason everyone always goes left and the ammount of time you are standing waiting to get on anything is frustrating. A friend told me that tip and it works.

2) take a picture of where you park your hire car i.e I was parked in Mickey Mouse carpark , row 67. It would have took me ages to find the bloody thing cos all the cars look the same.

P.M if you want anything else, and have a fantastic time out there.

All the best you jammy B*****D

seems like when i was in the uk, every brit i met that had been to america had gone to orlando. i'm just curious as to what the draw is? i mean its not the worst city in the states, but its not on my shortlist of vacation destinations.

I have lived all 29 years of my life here and I've never been to Disney World or Disney Land. Can't say I ever wanted to go either. Maybe that will change if and when I have kids.
