Welcome new City Fan, May I ask who you supported before the mighty blues?

I have never supported any other english club. Just Real madrid in spain, and i still support them in Spain :D

I really like the behind the scenes photos. But when people create this content they need to think about why they are doing it. I have not, do not and will not ever go to the Manchester City Football Club official website for laughs. It's not their department. They are clearly hugely unqualified to provide chuckles.

It's behind the scenes access so tell us what is actually going on. 'Here we see someone running about strapped to an elastic band. This is to strengthen their quads'. Or somesuch.

Yeah I'm sure Chappy is dead funny and great to have around but you can't have found those vids funny, you just can't

Best/funniest thing in them was seeing the reactions of some of the "winners". Like Micah. It kinda showed they appreciate it themselves and seem to be having a great time together. That did it for me.

Most embarassing bunch of videos to ever grace the OS. It's getting more and more like that as well.

To quote my blog last week:

An elderly women got on the screen which was amusing at the time, but then City (as they love to do these days) went OTT with giving her an interview and video on the Official Site. Call me miserable if you want, but I think sometimes the club is trying too hard to look like it's got a sense of humour and in touch with the fans. The same can be said for that daft 'Alan' thing before Christmas.

Yeh...but winners like Balotelli clearly didin't like him. And i found chappy to be not funny at all. I couldn't even watch it when his face was so fucked and his voice was just painful.

What is good about Citys site is...that it's free to watch videos, you have to pay for behind the scenes videos in most big clubs sites.

People forget that.

Comedy , you either have it or you don't.

mcfc.co.uk caption authors clearly don't.

The only thing the captions should focus on is to state the things that the pictures don't obviously conjure in our mind via our eagle eyes.

Yes and no. The fans made more of it then was there, but City just carried it on. Do you remember the highlights from 2010 on the OS? The clip they used to sum the month up was Alan. If that's what the majority of City fans think of when they think of December 2010, then I clearly am out of touch with the fans. Grandma - glad to see that she enjoyed herself, although the whole premise of it being 'funny' was that she was old. Don't think there was a need for City to carry the joke on for the next week or two.

I'm sure I'm not alone with thinking that I'd rather see the media team but some footage up from past seasons to reminisce about when we were shite instead of asking the chef at Carrington who she thinks is going to win best film at the Oscars!
