Osama Bin Laden is dead.

Why kill him? A dead body is useless. His death accomplishes nothing, in fact it might outrage other terrorists. The world will be in high alert the next few days, weeks.

He should of been captured and dealt with like a criminal. Double standards don't go well with me. If you kill (assassinate, i assume this is what happened) one criminal and call it justice you have to kill the others.

When people are firing guns at you, you can't really just go up to them and "capture" them easily. I'd imagine they'd have preferred to have him alive - though it does seem to be bringing a bit of closure.

He was shot in the head, just heard this on TV. One bullet straight to his head. Sounds like an assassination to me.

My problem is with the media that are labeling his death as justice.

The conspiracy theories are starting already.

Nobody will know where he was shot. Bin Laden has said for years he will never be taken alive and Obama confirmed there was a trading of gunfire.

How? I am just pointing out the obvious. They had no intention of capturing him.

What about the assassination attempt on Gaddafi that ended up killing his son. Is this justice?

-- Sun May 01, 2011 8:54 pm --

They just said it here on NBC, i did not pull that out of my arse.

I think the amount of celebrations going on right now in America tells you whether they believe justice has been done.

-- Mon May 02, 2011 4:57 am --
