OSC Ljubljana - Est 2023

Moved to Ljubljana in 2021 and have always been exasperated (if not surprised) at the lack of blues around.

No plans to leave beautiful Slovenia anytime soon so I've now got in touch with the club and started the Ljubljana OSC.

Really not sure if there will be much interest/traction but if anybody is based locally enough and would like to join, link is here.

Lovely city. Managed a few caves and a trip to North Italy, last time I was in Slovenia, but every night in that city was magical. A guided tour of the astronomy and telescopes on a clear night was unbelievable!

Ljubljana had the coldest outdoor swimming pool I have ever come across. My kids were quicker than I into the water. I asked them how warm it was, they said it was wonderful so I jumped straight in and nearly died of shock. Cue hysterically laughing kids.

Definitely got to visit soon, closest I've been to is Croatia. Met a couple in Luxembourg while on holiday there who were from Eastbourne and lived in there permanently. The male half had Slovenian parents, and said it's somewhere I must visit.
