Should be a fairly trouble free recovery for Bobb, a break is often easier than a serious muscle injury, once its healed he should be good to go it will just be about fitness, conditioning and mentality.
Orient seems the obvious choice for Bobb to make his comeback but that will depend on the condition of the pitch. Probably won't be worth the risk if it's a dodgy pitch.

This is about Oscar Bobb. He will need minutes and a few games to get going. But let’s remember he was good, a great prospect, but not a regular starter for the few preseason games he shone.
Was it a bad break? Remember Aaron Ramsey never being the same after his.

Orient game could be fun. Minutes for Khusanov, Oreilly, Mcatee, Bobb, Savinho and Marmoush up top. What a different look to the team compared to last season.
It was reported as a ‘clean break’ but we can only tell when he plays.

I agree mate, he is not the finished article yet but his talent ceiling is so much higher than most, I would guess a lot of the praise is to build the fellas confidence and make him feel good.

I think it's because we've been playing poorly and because we seemingly made the choice of Bobb over Palmer, and Palmer has done well (therefore, Bobb must be even better!).
You're right that he's become overrated in the mind of some though and I think when he inevitably has the same struggles every youth player has, the narrative will be "injury killed his potential". Can see this one coming a mile away.

To be fair, he did look very promising in pre season. And I was looking forward to seeing how he'd fare in the season.
