Oscar Bobb | Back in first team training, again (p55)

Same. I've always liked how Spanish clubs will put out a brief describing precisely what was done in the operation, too. English clubs aren't as tight-lipped as, say, hockey teams who either define it as an "upper-body injury" or "lower-body injury" but are still pretty discreet.
I still feel like we have no idea what was really wrong with Haaland last year. With the time out it could have easily been a break. I know it doesn’t really matter. As a mother, I like to know all the ways my children can be injured in sports. Want to make sure I’m worrying properly about all potential situations for both my kids and the players I like.

'Big impact injury' sounds like a mistimed tackle, the other party as yet unidentified but X is rife with speculation. Maybe better if the club explained what happened - their account up until now was nobody else involved and Pep's description seems to contradict it.
We know it won’t be Phillips. He wouldn’t have got close to Bob

What a blow, after the pre-season he's had.
Have to hope that others step up during his absence, and that Oscar comes back with a vengeance in the second half / business end of the season.

I noticed he was part of the squad photo with the trophies a few weeks ago. It’ll be great to have him back in the first team squad.

Be great to see him back training with the boys - probably some none contact work to start but most of these young lads these days are dedicated professional athletes and he'll not be far short of match fitness levels within a short space of time. Fingers crossed he's good to go in a few weeks.

Lots of competition in the wide areas and each player offering varied skill sets. Think Bobb has a higher ceiling than Savinho and Doku.

We must not rush him back or cut corners.

Bit different with a break to a muscle injury. It's either healed or it hasn't. It's good news if he's ahead of schedule.

We need him tbh, he would have played a major part with Kevs injury and Phil out of form. Can't wait to see him back playing again think he's absolutely mint.

it's not about the bone healing but the body's muscles around it and that can be a major problem, Also the whole leg will need muscle build-up and that can lead to other injuries, Bobb needs to take it slowly and do the hard yards without pressure to get back
