Oscar Bobb

I'm disappointed with the way its working out for Bobb. When he burst onto the scene I was all over him like a tramp on chips. It seemed he was in the best form of his life pre season last year, then bang, that injury massively fucked him up and he's just not the same player. I'm not saying he was absolutely fantastic in his career before the injury, but you could still see he had huge potential. If he leaves then I hope he does well, its just that its not working out at City for the lad.

This season’s Macatee. Simply hasn’t done enough when the chance presented itself. Compare and contrast with O’Reilly.
Looks like that injury and long lay off has taken its toll. Not sure if its physical, mental or a combination of both. His pace and decision making are nowhere near what I was expecting.
Comparing with O Reilly isn't a fair comparison.
O Reilly is in peak physical condition and looks mentally superb.
I'm hoping that Rodri, out for a considerable time too, will come back in better shape than Bobb.

He has had a poor season and it's a shame he has not been able to fulfil his potential. His long term injury from last season has not helped, I still think there is a player in there but a move away is probably his best option.

Dont think loan moves usually work out for us as we prefer to keep players we really rate in house.

Feel like i saw enough glimpses of quality with Bobb though and his injury situation is enough of a mitigating circumstance that id prefer to see him given a loan move where he might get a chance to play himself back into form and we reassess.

If someone needs to leave permanently id prefer it to be Savinho. I know hes only young, but i dont think he has the mindset to make it at City.

His biggest weakness is that he can’t create any type of separation
his biggest weakness is decision making. He very rarely makes the correct decision even if his moves do come off. runs into blind alleys, uses the wrong foot to dribble, wrong angle for a shot, wrong position in the box. He does not play in a way that maximizes his impact.

Get £30m for him and move him on.
If he does go, we will get loads moaning about the fee we get because some city fans are convinced he's a world beater.
He is very talented but doesn't have the end product or commitment to be good enough for us.

I will be disappointed if he goes because I believe he has the potential to be a world-class player. Nevertheless, at this moment, he is not going to replace Erling, Cherki, Foden, or Doku, and probably not Savinho either, and we have McAidoo, Heskey, and the Samba boys coming up on the rails - all technical and very physical - and he needs game time to bring out that potential. A loan or a sale with a buy-back seems fair to him, and fair to the club.

Hes 22, he needs to move on and become a starter somewhere

Feel for the kid, the injury set him back so much and now looks like a player short of confidence and form

£25mil/£30mil with a sell-on clause and a buy-back would be the correct move, a 6 month loan doesnt do much for him

Palace obvious choice but with Glasner & Guehi going maybe not quite the perfit fit it seems

Brighton would be a good option, maybe also Bournemouth. Fulham couod be as Smiith-Rowe fitness is always a question.

Either way, there should be some options for him
