They get a great education, a great education in life, and football, currently they may well get to work with Pep, probably the best teacher in footballing things, and if they don't make our first team, they usually end up at a decent club earning bloody good money.

I'd forgotten him but if https://www.transfermarkt.com/erik-sarmiento/leistungsdaten/spieler/284869 is right then it was €250,000.

Don't know if he's still injured or not but he barely featured for their 'B' team this season. Looking at his stats there he ruptured his cruciate ligament when with us and there's no listing whatsoever for the 2017-18 season.

Someone like Matondo would have had to play 50+ games in Cardiff’s first team to get a £11m move to Schalke. At City nearly good enough was all he needed to set himself up for life.

Stayed at Cardiff, my bet, he’d be out of elite football by 20.
