CSKA have a chance to nick something here, however Bayern have been dominant, Musa causing problems on the break, got to be in the top 5/10 fastest footballers playing in Europe.

Bayern got the win, but it was far from a good performance. When you have as much quality as Bayern then against the weaker teams you are always going to be bailed out by a moments brilliance. The defence was very poor and Benatia had an awful game. To be fair to him he may not have been fully fit, but without Boateng the defence struggled. The strange formation that Guardiola was playing just did not work and there was far to bigger a gap between the midfield (pretty much just Alons) and the 4 attackers lined up in a row (Robben, Muller, Lewandowski and Gotze). That apart Bayern lacked cohesion and fluidity, which is a given considering how often they are forced to change position or formation. Unless Guardiola changes quickly this season in the CL will be even worse than last years. The first top team they face (Chelsea, Barca, Madrid, Atletic) will put their out. I am interested to see how they do against Roma.

City really missed a trick in not winning the first leg and exposing Alonso's weaknesses.

Barca losing to PSG is not that surprising. PSG have been poor in the league from what I have heard, have not watched them this season, but they can play well. This Barca team despite their great start have a lot of weaknesses. It's such an open CL. Bayern are held back by their manager, Madrid lack a defensive cover, Chelsea not quite got the players and Dortmund continuously have half their team injured, but those are the four favourites for me.
