Other fans view of our match day experience

The pre match is very good. Although I would much rather they'd just televised the Spurs v Arsenal game.

Had a spurs fan go up for the first time this season. He said it's by far the best away experience he's had and will make sure he goes up next time.

Went with a Rag cousin when we played Juve and she was blown away by the stadium and how impressive the CFA and the bridge looked. Another Rag mate went there a few weeks ago as part of a corporate event and he said much the same.

I loved Maine Road, but we're setting new standards with the Etihad and I for one appreciate it every time I step into the place. Privileged doesn't even come close to describing how I feel.

Thank you Manchester City Council and Sheikh Mansour! :-)

The Emirates is miles better than the Etihad and most others.

The Britannia, Anfield and Ashton Gate are not nice to visit for various reasons, Anfield being the worst by far.
I'd disagree. It looks nice but as a footballing venue it's not great. Every seat is the equivalent to our Level 2 padded seats, they don't have enough on offer for different sets of fans with different incomes. The concourse is too small, the food on offer is atrocious, there isn't enough segregation outside the stadium and turnstyles are too small for the away allocation (If you're going off it being a brand new state of the art arena). Finally, the location of the stadium makes it very awkward to get too (Unless you're from London), there's no way you can drive there which means you have to pay a bomb for public transport.

Any stadium that's been built recently shouldn't need you to walk round the corner to find the away coaches and the pile up at the tube station is asking for trouble.

I've never been to the Emirates, miles better in what sense?

I was stood next to a Mackem for the Barca game last season and he was saying the Etihad was probably the best ground he'd visited in terms of ease of access, facilities, aesthetics and general comfort.

And David Bernstein :)

As a 'fan' of another PL team, I can say that City is by far one of the most enjoyable experiences. Shown this season by the fact I've been to once Kiev game has passed, been to five times as many City games as the other team this season.

I only originally started going as it's close to my house, however it really is an enjoyable experience, and regardless of what the outside world may think of City, they're doing a lot of things right and are very likeable I find.

I look forward to City games more than the other team. Which is something.

I took 4 Burnley fans to the Sevilla game earlier in the season and they thought everything about our ground including the atmosphere was fantastic!!!!

Tbh I'm a bit gutted I don't get to take in the whole prematch. Having a few pints beforehand, taking in a live band, it does look good. I'm normally working though so it's a quick in and out for me because I'm driving.
Good to see opposition fans appreciate it - apart from Everton fans in the semi final, they didn't seem to enjoy it much...

I took a dipper fan to the england japan game, as we walked into stadium in the colin bell he said....... FUCKIN HELL WHAT A GROUND!

All good stuff.

The annual report mentioned (or used to), these sort of things . On almost all aspects the match day experience was top or 2nd in all rankings IIRC.

Perhaps we can rename the stadium:
"The theatre of 'fucking hell"'... Ah no that's in the next door county.

I've been to the Emirates and it's not miles better. Game wasn't great either, 0-0 in 2010 I think with the Arse singing lots of songs about Adebayor and coach trips.

The only grumbles I have heard from opposition or neutral fans is about a shortage of pubs near the ground.
