Anyone else done a tour of another team's ground? How did it compare to the Etihad tour?
I did Nou Camp years and years ago. I also did the West Ham tour last year. It was quite good and very informative. Met Martin "Mad dog" Allen and ended up having a few beers with a couple of West ham fans in their local. Noticed how tatty the posh bars at the London Stadium were with lettering missing from some of signs on the walls.

Done Real Madrid in 2012, Barcelona in 2014 & Ajax in 2020, all decent tours but all without a tour guide and you just go at your own pace and were all decent, did tour NFL stadium Allegiant Stadium in Vegas back in November and that was incredible especially the dressing room experience in which you had to stand behind a certain line, lights went out and you could hear all the audio as if the players were sat behind you in prep for the game then a hologram of the greatest coach in Raiders history appeared and gave a inspiring team talk, honestly outstanding and something that will be replicated from others going forward

Done Tottenham and Windsor Park (Linfield and Northern Ireland). Neither compared to City imo. Tottenham was ok as got info on NFL etc.

I enjoyed Windsor Park one as it was a birthday present for my son and day before Irish cup final in which Coleraine were playing so half stadium and one changing room set up to accommodate Coleraine

Am in Seville at the moment and booked for Real Betis tomorrow- hoping to bump into Manuel Pelligrini with a bit of luck ;)

Done loads including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Betis Benfica, Porto, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Fenerbache, Cologne, Ajax.

Never done ours though so can't compare.

Although a bit raggy, the Ajax one was most memorable. Barcelona one was good because you get to watch them twat the rags (twice)

Went on the San Siro tour a few years ago. Pretty underwhelming tbh, the changing rooms are tiny, ridiculously so, and despite the footballing heritage, there was very little to see....but it was sunny and Milan was lovely, so there's that.

Sorry for replying to my own post but just back and pretty underwhelming to say the least - quick look at the trophies - 3 Copa del Ray (last one won by Pelligrini 2021) and a La Liga from 1935 then 6 min video on history walk into changing rooms (5 mins) then pitch side for 5 mins then walked to club shop for an opportunity to purchase and that's it - not great for 12 euros
