The elusive Kappa 1997/98 3rd shirt.

Nationwide League Division One Kevin Horlock match worn shirt v QPR...26th October 1997.

Worn just the five times against QPR, Portsmouth, Huddersfield, Reading & Birmingham and never available to buy as replica at the time.

Only 36 shirts were believed to be issued of which the players wore 1-19 with 19-36 being kept by the players.

LOVE this shirt!

Have it, but I think it has shrunk!
Great shirt this, one of few recent ones I'd actually consider buying.
Personally think we should wear white as a 3rd kit, something like this or the clasdsc white with blue/red sash from 70s.
Second kit, either black/red stripes or all maroon.
Never really understood why we have a dark blue change strip as often when we have to wear change colours it's at Everton, Leicester,Chelsea etc..who wear dark blue.
Someone once told me that from a 'marketing point of view' it looks good with jeans!
Worst away ones I reckon are the purple with orange sash from treble winning season. Another one is that white with maroon/brown 'mishmash '( one Noel Gallagher is wearing on the cover of 'Manchester, the greatest City')
In all honesty not really that fussed about the kit (unless we do a 'Cardiff' a few years back) it's how we play ,not how we look.

I think there are some “classic” City shirts from “the good old days” that would do us proud.

Sadly, it seems we have a generation that was brought up on dross Brother shirts, but they live em because that was the City of THEIR youth. Thus, it’ll never get settled.

However, seeing City in
Sky, white, sky at home…
Red & black stripes, black, black away…
White with bi-colored sash, white, white third…
would do me for a lifetime!
