Our best ever player

I'd add a World Cup, a European Championship (plus CL when he was at Barca) for Henry.. Ronaldo was better still particularly factoring in his time at the Spanish Rags.
Kevin De Bruyne.

Not only is he City's greatest ever player, He's the best Premier League player ever.
~Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo have entered the chat

World cups and Barca/Spanish rag appearances are surely irrelevant?

Aguero?

Sergio Agüero holds several Premier League records, including:
  • Most goals by a non-English player: Agüero is the highest non-English scorer in the Premier League with 184 goals.

  • Most hat-tricks: Agüero has the most hat-tricks in Premier League history with 12.

  • Most EA SPORTS Player of the Month awards: Agüero won a Premier League record seven EA SPORTS Player of the Month awards.

  • Golden Boot: Agüero won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2014/15.
Agüero's other Premier League achievements include:
  • Being part of the PFA Team of the Year twice
  • Holding the record for the most goals scored by a player for a single club
Haaland will beat that hat-trick record by the end of this season I reckon. He's already got 8 which is incredible.

Unbelievable really, if he stays at City for 10 years he will shatter every scoring record the league has but, of course, he will be joining Real Madrid every summer like Aguero did lol

He's just a ridiculously productive striker. Ironically he misses a lot of chances too but I think one of his great strengths is an ability to make a chance out of something no other player could do due to his strength, agility and pace. Like that backheel goal in the CL shouldn't even register as a 'chance' for most players but for Haaland not only was it a chance but it was a goal. Same as that goal against Dortmund a couple of years ago.

KDB for me.

Not just the skill and drive, but he has the most incredible vision, he seems to be able to feel from pitch level what the right ball is to play when I can even see it from the Colin Bell stand!

Absolutely peerless genius.

I just wish he would score some bloody headers, I have a 10 headed goals at a decent price at skybet, every miss breaks my heart and wallet

If this discussion was before the takeover...my choice would be Colin, then Franny, and for a season, Ali B, pretty straightforward. Nowadays, the list of genuine contenders has grown and grown to the point it is just about impossible to rate one above another. Vinnie for his influence on the dressing-room and pitch, David for the chances he created, (if he had a fault it was being too unselfish) Kun for his uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time, and ice in his veins. Yaya bringing the crowd to their feet with his unstoppable surges and magical ball skills, from cannonballs to caressing passes. Have to mention the Viking just for his record-breaking goals tally, scoring is referred to as the hardest task in footbal...The opinions of those who have faced City would be very interesting.
