Our Club is changing

This club isn't mine, it's owned by an Arabian guy and he can do whatever he wants with it.

He may have the money but certain things about the Club will never change because they've been like that for years. i.e. We'll be called Manchester City, wear Blue shirts etc. No Club without the fans.

Liam is as much a racist as I am a rag.
Nothing to see here.
Actually, most if not all people are "racist" to an extent.

I believe that most of us tend to judge people over much by what they look like, what they sound like etc.etc.

There's nothing necessarily wrong about this - so long as we realise this, and can learn to overcome our natural prejudices when it is necessary to do so.

And so long as it doesn't lead us to express our prejudices with a degree of hatred and contempt. It is that which worries me far more about some of the posters on football, and other, forums, than the fact that they might not find asian fans particularly appealing.

The history of humankind shows that it is far easier to stir up hatred between different peoples, than to put an end to any such hatred. Look at Northern Ireland, South Africa, middle East, Pakistan etc.etc.etc.

That said, football and other sporting rivalry might provide the most harmless sort of outlet for our propensities to hate. I'd much rather people hated others because they were rags, dippers, gooners etc., than because they were black, white, asian, jews, arabs etc.etc.

When I first met Liam I thought he was a Norwegian looking Glory seeking twonk :D

Do you have a problem with Norwegian supporters? Just to inform you we have had a branch since 1974. For me personally, my first game was in 1990 and have been to Manchester 50-60 times to support City.

I am not saying we won't have our fair share of glory hunting twats popping up now and then. And I am really sorry that not everyone of us speak perfect English.

LoL, the post was late at night buddy, I actually meant "Nordic" not Norwegian.

Next time your branch comes over to watch a Game give me a PM, your branch will be more than welcome at our supporters club in North Bury
are you the lads that put the Norwegian flag up on SS Level Two?

Most (if not all) of the Gloryseekers I've ever met have actually been from Manchester, preferring to be fans of whichever team is the flavour of the month.

I met some norwegian spurs fans after the fulham game. They'd been to see spurs liverpool. Seemed like a fun bunch; certainly enjoying themselves! Very vocal, plenty of booze.

Good football knowledge as well, loved the English game. I'd say you'd be particularly welcome at city if you're anything like them! haha! as long as you bring snus as gifts!

I've a similar experience. Bumped into some Norwegian Everton fans in a bar in Ko Samet, Thailand last Christmas whilst watching the home game against Everton (we lost 2-1). Genuinely nice guys who liked a drink and were very knowledgeable about their club and Premier League football in general.

funny isn't it. Football can either be incredibly devisive or bring people together.

id like half the world population to support city if possible. What a Stadium we would have then
