I dont think exiting the Champ Lge at group stage is a disaster!
Not qualifying for the group stage every year woulld be!

The CC is a minor trophy to those big teams but with the size (and quality) of our squad and lack of silverware over a long period...

Winning the Premiership is the most important thing - could have won it last year, MUST win it this.

The Carling Cup is an irrelevence and we should 'bale out' of it asap. Champ League winning is beyond us at the moment............defence isnt good enough yet.

Given our current league position, lead and goalscoring record it would inevitably be a major anti climax if we dont win the league. Ideally the United game would have been 2 or 3 months later. Now, no matter how much Roberto may say otherwise, the expectation is there.
