In saying that though, we're still in with a very real chance of the quad in late March/April. That in itself shows how good we are. I wouldn't have it any other way!
I believe SKY want:But even then, UEFA get priority on fixture scheduling and IF we get to the semi final, we could play Wednesday, Tuesday.
That would mean us potentially playing Sunday (Burnley), Wednesday(UCL), Friday (Cardiff), Sunday (Leicester), Tuesday(UCL). Can't happen.
Huge row between City and BT/BBC/SKY/PL/FA going on behind the scenes as to City's rearranged fixtures: Cardiff (H) and the FA Cup match day.
They want our FA Cup game on the Sunday, leaving us with 2 days to the CL QF. Also they want us to play 3 games in a week in the League the last week of the season.
Not a City source.
It would be 4 (very important) games in a week, and no amount of planning would make it ok.City could either simply refuse to play on Sunday ( won't happen) but would make the fa shit themselves at chance of lost revenue and also 1 of the best teams in Europe not being in the final or we could simply say ok it's the Sunday we will be playing the u18 team. 3 games in a week doesn't seem to bad if planned right in Friday Tue Friday or Fri Wednesday Sunday etc
Not wishing to count chickens BTW, we would have to beat Spurs to play 3 games in the final week of the season, and that's not guaranteed, with City v Cardiff on the Friday.
