Our Floodlights

Can we send them on loan to Sunderland with an option to buy at the end of the season

Still waiting for some fucker to climb up on matchday. I remember a reserve game early 80's I think against Bradford where somebody was up there threatening to jump at J block. Eventually the cops just said to switch them on, the fucker soon game down sweating with a tan.

Have we switched out to LED or still using Halogen? Think of the cost savings? we would easy pass FFP with the reduced eleccy bill alone

I'd imagine the up front cost of installing LED units with at least an IP65 rating would be fairly steep and we wouldn't reap the benefits of running costs until after the end of next season.

Plus, we'd hear shit like "halogens were the last thing that needed replacing", "LEDs won't work in the Premier League" and "halogens would have illuminated that".

It does seem strange that our dip in home form has come since the lights have been on for the games. Every time we have been done by a ball over the top. Could it be that our defenders are struggling to pick the flight of the ball as it drops down out of the light? Or is it just because they are shit?

That explains it. It's the bloody lights that are making me:
  • not sing at home games
  • not be able to get a drink or pie at half time
  • not have enough points for the big away matches.
  • leave 10 minutes early (to miss traffic, attend a wedding, catch the final of I'm a celeb)
I knew none of these things were my own fault, I just didn't know why!!
