Our form in Europe.

just from my observation is that silva and nasri aren't afforded the type of space they've become used to in the PL this season, once we get used to it and get balo back i think things should be right

We have looked lackluster in Europe to say the very least.

Hopefully with our first win we've turned a corner.

Think we need 6 points out of the remaining 9 to get through, Napoli away will be HUGE

I think winning our first champions league game would of taken alot of pressure of....there is no reason not to beat Villarreal next wed after what we did to united.

if we beat villareal and napoli lose in munich, as they should have done at home, then it is definitely game on

a draw at napoli and a win at home to munich and we are through

Think it may go down to the last day but a win in Napoli would seal it.

CL football is as different to Premier League football as chess is to draughts.

The sides are a lot more technically savvy in this competition. Sure you can go at some of the weaker teams a bit gung-ho as UTD and Chelsea have shown and give them a bit of a trouncing. There are no weaker teams in our Group. I was impressed with how resolute Villareal were with some pretty good players. Rossi diagonal runs and ability to create space in front of the back four was superb. I don't expect them to play any differently at home. (I hope they will come out and push on as this will suit us on the break). They will pressure us on the ball and stifle what they can whilst being perfectly able to create chances. I counted 8 shots at our goal second half at the Etihad with a couple troubling Joe.

Hopefully we can get another win (please dont leave it until the 93rd minute blues)
I've said it before but I hope BM win their next 2 games which will mean they wont need any kind of result at the Eitihad. If we do beat Villareal then the Napoli game will be the decider and we may only need a point! Still too many permutations yet though lets just win in Spain first.

Think we NEED to win in Spain? I think we do...if Bayern win against Napoli we won't be down with just a point in Spain but would maker it harder.

Our form in the Champions League is mainly due to Zabaleta and Kolarov. No offense the them, but we are just not the same without Richards and Clichy.

Really? Kolarov is one of the few who has created for us in the champions league....
