At the start of the season we were playing fantastic football, the stuff Barcelona would play but because we were conceding goals regularly I think Mancini has now restricted the movement of the team. Early on when we attacked we would have 2 or 3 players making forward runs into the box at once for Silva to thread a ball to which was very successful because it made teams unable to defend it, now players like Aguero who should be in the box getting on the end of these balls are having to come deeper to pick it up and try and make something happen themselves.

Against 15/20 of the teams in this league now they will be putting 10 men behind the ball when the play us and with us being in our rigid positions passing it slowly sideways it is making it too easy for them to defend against us. Mancini needs to take the shackles off again and let the creative players do what they want, we'll have so much more success in front of goal and we cant afford to keep dropping points now. 4-2 is better than 1-0!

So Mancini has decided we were winning too easily. Thought it only fair to give others teams a chance. Yeah, I see where you are coming from.

Problem is teams would rarely give us the respect we deserved and didn't consider us one of the top teams. Now though, they have seen the way we raped the rags 6-1 so we are getting the respect we deserve from other teams. Unfortunately, that now means instead of trying to give us a game they are parking the bus.

I think he read too much into the Bayern game when we lost 2-0 and that we were conceeding goals frequently and decided to try and change things a little to stop that. Im not criticising him, he's a fantastic manager and i wouldnt swap him for anyone, im just saying i think he's changed the way we play from the start of the season,

I think most would not agree. We have had a little drop in form and the strikers have not been as clinical as ideally they would be. We are still creating numerous chances and are at a pivotal period in the season. Time will tell, but I do not believe that Mancini has decided to restrict the players. It simply does not make sense.

We've done nothing differently. Points we've dropped:

Fulham (away) - blatant foul on Dzeko to set up Fulham's equalizer
Liverpool (away) - the most monumental of own goals for them to equalize
Chelsea (away) - they played almost 40 mins a man up and it took a late penalty for them to win
WBA (away) - unclinical on our end, fair do's for WBA they were well organized
Sunderland (away) - yard off-side for the winner

End of the day it takes a lot of luck on behalf of the other side to get any points off of us.

Our play has been restricted because teams wise up.

It's the same reason Dzeko and Aguero scored for fun at the start of the season and now they're having to work twice as hard for a shot at goal.

If we want to be champions we have to step it up a notch again, but it's not the way we set up, or the space, it's just that killer instinct. The killer instinct that I'm sorry to say, United display year in, year out. Once we hit a bit of form we'll go back to hitting a few teams hard, but the title will be won or lost at those tricky games like Villa away, Everton away etc. Where we might need to accept that nicking a goal and shutting up shop will do us nicely.
