This is yet another example of City 'ruining' football! A home grown bench and now 6 academy players out of 21 in the England U20 squad.
What on earth will Mr. Platini make of this!!

Trouble is that realistically Santa Cruz and Sylvinho will probably replace two of these tomorrow and, if we keep winning without them, in a week or so Robinho and Kompany will oust another two.
Maybe only Stevie & Micah warming the bench. Ned, Sweep, Johnno and Vlad left watching from the stands. Hope not.

wont happen cos by the time robbie and vinnie are back players will lose form and lose their place (petrov?) get injured (bellamy? hope not!!!) or get banned (you know who) so no problem. plus sparky could change to 4-3-3 if he wanted to

I can't see sweep being left watching from the stands... he's been fine the last few matches.... or is there something ive not heard?

you may well be right but if ireland is fit he has to play, as soon as he went off against fulham they perked up and we missed him.

We coped fine without him against West Ham though

How can a lad that has played a handful of minutes and adjusting to a huge step up in terms of the level he has played previously be out of form? Give the lad a chance to get used to the prem instead of slating him for some good cameo performances.
