Well the Op's story is indeed a terrible one, if true that is, since lets face it the op has form for being anti police. Personally I think its likely that its pure fantasy but in the unlikely event that it is true bear in mind that this is one copper out of tens of thousands across the country. Surely the thread title should be "A joke of a police officer" rather than2 our joke police force"

A police officer stopped me and asked for my ID. Seeing as there has been a bit of trouble recently involving underage drinkers around here I showed him my ID and was glad to see that the Police are doing something about the problem. I'm only young so could quite easily be mistaken for someone under 18. I showed him my card and he thanked me and said have a nice evening and we went home to watch the film and dvd safe in the knowledge that the Police were actively trying to reduce the problems we've been having recently.

99% of coppers were bullied at school, who have megalomaniac issues. I should know, i have 2 of them in my family and my sister in law is one also. You will get the occasional one who is honest and respectfull.
Police officers need to remember that they ARE NOT the law, they are civil fucking servants paid to make sure that the laws of the land are adhered to! All these cuts to the coppers is brilliant, it will make them actually do something now, not just harass teenagers in parks or sit in kebab shops talking about 'scrotes' and 'crims'.

Glen, you personally know 3 coppers, yet you can state for certain that 99% of them are megalomaniacs?

I personally know 6 coppers! My generalisation is somewhat accurate, as 5 out of 6 of them are cunts.
