Our owners - next move?

1) Keep faith with the club and our support. Ignore all the brickbats from the media and pundits.

2) Review things at the end of this season, manager wise and player wise.

3) Make changes where required, manager wise if need be, and player wise (possible areas to improve if FFP allows - 2 central midfield players, a left back, a winger and a centre forward to support Aguero, and sell players who it is felt cannot take the club further to offset player purchases)

4) Look at the U21 players and see if any can be at least part of the 18 man match day squad next season

5) Have a look at matchday ticket costs\season ticket cost to see where\how anything can be done to freeze or marginally reduce costs for fans

6) Bite the bullet for any FA Cup, League Cup and European home games and do some special offers on tickets, as you have tried this season at times, to get the ground full for these games also.

7) Work with City supporter groups such as the 1894 group to maximise the options for creating a good atmosphere at the ground for all games, by such as organising\defining an area of the ground where supporters who want to stand from their seat and sing during games are together in one place and are allowed\encouraged to do this. In fact always engage with\work with supporters in an attempt to help develop the club into a standard bearer for English football.

8) If the new South Stand take up goes well, start the expansion on the new North Stand in early 2016 and try and get more cheap season tickets made available to fans on the waiting list for that expansion also.

Above all, remember all City fans appreciate what the owners have done in bringing City up from no hopers to trophy winners and how proud we are of this club, all its teams (Mens, Womens, U21 etc), our history, the stadium and the new impressive City academy, and all the good work in the area of East Manchester that has\is being undertaken by the owners. Have patience with us (and at times the team), as we all like a moan at times, and let us gradually all make this the best football club there is anywhere, both on and off the field.

City Forever !

Big summer ahead..I think this will be on par if not better than the silva/yaya window

The hope would have to be for one or two top-level signings. But I don't think we should underestimate just how damging our performances in Europe could be in terms of attracting the best, most sought-after players. I find it hard to believe that someone like Reus, for example, would be chomping at the bit to leave Dortmund, who have been and continue to be relatively successful in Europe, to join a team that habitually struggles (and where the atmosphere at home games is usually awful).

While a proportion of our fans might not care about the Champions League, I suspect most players consider it the pinnacle. If we can't compete at that level - and our performances this season have suggested we can't really at the moment - it's going to be a tough sell.

At least we are in it to be fair, we signed aguero, silva and yaya without champs league.

Its a tough sell like you say, but with the setup we have it should be easier than before

Definitely not impossible, and I've got faith in the powers that be to do as good a job as possible on selling us to new players. But it will be difficult, I think, to get those right at the very top-level (which, at the time, I don't think either Silva or Yaya were considered to be).

We need to really revamp all areas of the squad and start a bit from a clean slate, I'd love our team to look something like this next year. I think most signings are attainable and fairly sensible. A lot will depend on if we have the same manager...

Hart
Zabs - There is better but he has been a great servant and any slight improvement would cost a lot.
Kompany - Obvious.
Hummels - I'd move Demichelis and maybe Nasty on (does he still play for us??). Mangala for the future and rotation.
Felipe Luis - Could be tempted away from Atletico, they are a selling club after all, Clichy has dropped his level too far now, Sagna backup.
Fernandinho - Needs to find his form but was vital last year, no reason to sell.
Khedira - Why not? Solid player for Madrid last year and could be available for free.
Reus - Sell Nasri and bring this bloke in, FANTASTIC player and will be available seeing as Dortmund are rock bottom of the Bundesliga.
Silva - Obviously.
Aguero - Obviously.
Jovetic - Bags of potential.

I don't think this team is impossible to achieve, there is plenty to poach from Dortmund as they are having an awful season and it probably won't improve anytime soon.

Just sack the manager. Its not rocket science.

No ! what we certainly don't do is turn our front door into a revolving one for managers sacking them every time things go a little pete tong there's not a scrap of evidence that continually hiring and firing a long queue of managers adds anything good to a football club just perpetual upheaval and instability and we have enough to contend with sorting the squads more pressing issues.
