going on an unbeaten run until the end of the season looks not only do-able but is almost expected at the minute given the fixtures and the need to still secure champions league football, preferably by finishing in the top 3. Have to say though if we do go unbeaten it's only going to strengthen thoughts on how wasteful we've been this season. The league was there for us to coast. We can finish on a maximum of 75 points. That's some way off what we should be getting as a minimum with the squad we have. A champions league win would soften the blow ever so slightly...

Just looking at our record in the last six Prem games since 2010:
2010/2011 - won 5, lost 1 = 15 points
2011/2012 - won 6 = 18 points
2012/2013 - won 3, lost 2, drew 1 = 10 points
2013/2014 - won 5, drew 1 = 16 points
2014/2015 - won 6 = 18 points
So, in 5 seasons, at crunch time at the end of the season (last 6 games anyway) we've got the following record (I'm sure I've got it right!):
Played: 30
Won: 25
Lost: 3
Drawn: 2
Points: 77
Fuck me, 77 points out of a possible 90.
Why in God's name am I worried about finishing top four??? (We've started this year's last 6 run in with a win)
Oh, and why don't we get the same media wankfest the Rags, or the Dippers, or Arsenal would get with that kind of record.
So following the pattern of winning 5,6,3,5,6 means we only win 3?

No I wouldn't, mate. We play shit opponents this time of year. Specially in our title winning seasons when other teams throw it away.

There's a big difference between the squad we have and the squad we've had available.
