Here, there, and everywhere.
Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but after the Blackburn game my Dad mentioned that if you throw together players that are either injured, away or didn't start the Blackburn game then we could actually have a 'reserve' team that would still be capable of beating most other Premiership teams.

--------------Taylor ------------

Onuoha - Toure - Lescott - Bridge

SWP - Ireland - Vieira - Robinho

---------Adebayor - RSC----------

I think that's a very decent team, and don't know the last time we had this kind of squad. I really do think that our strength in depth can see us challenge for the title this year ! I don't necessarily think we will win it, but we'll certainly give the others a run for their money.

That's what money buys and is the reason why the top four rise to the top even if one or two have early season wobbles. In any other season Liverpool would still be confident that they would have the depth to finish more strongly that the us, Villa and Spurs. Not this season! The team you describe is almost entirely made up of players that can be considered as first choice when fit (we seem to have about 15 "first choice" players now!).

Last season we lost the Europa place and the UEFA QF within a week due to the lack of depth in the squad. Not this season! We can play to win every match and don't need to worry about players tiring.

You could argue this line up is stronger than the team put out for Blackburn, happy days.

The only weakness in that team is Taylor. Bring back Hart and it would be a top ten team!
Maybe we could run a second team. I believe some Salford based team may be selling their stadium.
We could buy it and burn it down. (LOL!)
I fancy naming the new stadium the "I love the Glazers" Arena.
We could name the team "White City FC".
I understand it wouldn't be in Manchester (as only ONE team comes from Manchester), but it would at least give the local paupers somewhere to go.
It wouldn't be what the locals were used to though, ie we would only sell "prawn barms", and admission would strictly be for northerners only.
It would only be fair to have a statue of Fergie outside.
Saying that, it would have to be a" living" statue, with Fergies boots glued to the plinth!
We could get him to count the days until "Manure" pay off their debts. (could be a long wait)

New chant for the Carling cup next week ...
We'll buy your club and rent it back, we'll buy your club and rent it back!
Should push a few buttons!

and on the bench: Johnson, Weiss, Sylvinho, Boyata, Vidal (not to mention those on loan - Hart, Bojinov, Jo, Caicedo, Etuhu, Logan)

It's not really our reserve team.

---------Taylor-----------
Zab--Onuoha-Kompany-Sylvinho
Weiss-Ireland-Vieira--Petrov
------Benjani-RSC-------

It's not too shabby though, ey

Yeah I know. It was a tongue in cheek comment, but it's still amazing that we literally have a 1st eleven team out/injured/on the bench, but can still put a decent team on the pitch and get good results like on Monday.

true, true. Tis a great time to be a City fan. It also shows why there's no indication of any transfers coming in. All this Mancini's contract stuff is bollox- he's got a great squad, end of
