IF we lose our appeal(s) the ramifications surely go far beyond the loss of CL revenue? Most of the sponsorship deals would presumably pay far less with no CL football, and given the shit press we are being given I assume many sponsors would no longer see us as an attractive brand?

We have got shit in the press since the day ADUG took over. In the decade since we have had shit from the press. We knew this ruling was coming and by all accounts aren't shocked by it. If Silver Lake and the Chinese media company didn't have discussions with Soriano and asked about potential CL bans then I will eat my hat. Whilst the UK press and maybe even a sprinkle in the US is reporting this. No one else cares.

Silver Lake and China are still going to get their money's worth. Ask a kid on the street outside of the UK and they won't give a fuck about FFP or UEFA. They will talk to you about Sterling's new haircut, the new boots KDB is wearing, how good Aguero is on FIFA and so on. Don't fall into the trap of believing the shite you read online like people actually care. I did a straw poll last night of my matchgoing mates who support Chelsea, rags, dippers, Portsmouth amongst other teams and they barely even knew it happened. They don't watch sky sports news or listen to talkshite and are far more interested in their own teams then what's happening to City.

Only by other fans and the media who have very little evidence unless UEFA have leaked the full details of the enquiry which I doubt. Not one club has made any comment and even managers when interviews have been very guarded with their replies, any unfounded allegations during an appeal process lead to City coming after them and they know it, seeing City can also appeal any negative CAS finding and the obvious legal challenges I doubt that City will be banned for next seasons Champions League and this could run over for a long time.
