Okay, so we've just lost a titanic semi-final in the last minute against our nearest and dearest, (at full strength, no kids) but...

We're 6th in the league with 2 games in hand for a Champions League place.

We have a home tie V Stoke for a place in the last 8 of the FA Cup, with a 3 of the SKY 4 long gone.

We have a beautiful stadium, with the biggest financial clout encountered in football, since bread came sliced.

Our nearest and dearest celebrated a "mickey mouse cup" win with the gusto of a European Cup win.

Tonight wasn't our night, but glory days are just around the corner.

I know, they know, you know. Always said this would be a roller coaster. Tonight was Custers land stand. Our day is approaching.

THE BLUE MOON IS ON THE RISE.

Well said mate.

The FA Cup is more important to us anyway.

very well said!!!

Getting knocked out of the Carling Cup has always really depressed me.

Doncaster, Chesterfield, Brighton etc as for me it represented our best chance of silverware and qualifying for Europe.

It embodied our season being over. However not this year. I see it as a springboard to better things.

Remember this night when we win our first of many trophies. It will make it all the more sweeter.

Sorry, but winning a trophy is the icing on the cake. The cake has top 4 written on it focus people, focus.

My positives from this.

We gave baconface a big enough shock that he decided to go full strength in the league cup. It's back fired for him. The rags went out of the FA cup by thinkin about us.
They're not gonna win the league. Thats Chelsea's, Champs league is beyond them. But they'll have all eyes on that so will lose to a Dunney hat trick in the carling cup.

Then We'll get to Wembley in the FA cup and win ending the drought. As well as finishing in the Champions league places and finishing the season 1 trophy up on those scum.

Heres hopin anyway.

Fa Cup would be the cherry, on top of the icing, on top of the cake.
