Football is nothing more then entertainment. Folk can boo if they want.
Not when teams play us ! Its 11 behind the ball. It is fucking boring

You are right about Olly, Tbf, the rags would have been a threat a lot sooner if Carrick would have stayedThat’s all a bit ‘Solskjaer-and-Carrick’ at this moment in time, for me.
In half a sentence you've summed up my thoughts, especially when you think back to the Leicester seasonit feels like this could be a wasted season.
Good post.I sort of agree to a point about the amount of moaning and woman arsing at the moment. I think along with the current uncertainty about the charges levelled at us and clearly not firing on all cylinders this season after the high of last seasons run on there is going to be a lot of frustration and emotion.
The squad is coming to the end of its cycle. We have a serious lack of pace and dynamism in the side. Apart from Walker and Haaland there’s no pace whatsoever. That’s one of the things in football that gets you off your seat, the sight of Leroy or Sterling running at a full back or David silva slipping one in behind for augero to run on to.
We are miles from that at the moment. In the first half Walker was having a lot of joy and space down his side and with a little bit of finesse could have put us in some good positions. However after dominating a very good opponent who I would go as far as saying had a better and deeper squad than us we let them back into it second half.
Although after they scored we did get a bit more control on the ball and did have a few chances.
I think that people just want to vent and know that with pep in charge and the quality on the likes of Haaland/foden/Grealish etc it feels like this could be a wasted season. Arsenal for all their plaudits and praise really aren’t that good. United are ok but shouldn’t be any where near us.
After last season and getting so close the last two seasons with the champions league it feels like we have taken steps back.
Signing the most prolific and sought after striker in football many of us thought that it was the missing part and that we would be unstoppable. Hasn’t worked out so anger and frustration has crept in. The squad needs a revamp. Look at the options Leipzig had in full back and midfield had compared to us. It’s a joke really. One senior full back at this level is borderline negligent. Lack of legs in midfield so that’s why we constantly turn the ball back and play safe through fear of the opposition running at us.
It is frustrating and at times a hard watch however I’m not sure calling our support crap or poor or entitled is accurate. Especially after a defeat or draw where we know we could have won.
Hopefully we can make a good end of season as I’m sure there will be a few twists and turns yet.
Your username is ironic.Too many Happy Clappers sadly. FFS let's call a spade a spade and be honest with ourselves. We used to get the ball forward faster under Pearce and that's when we had shit like Samaras and Vassell playing.
Possession without goals is little more than time-wasting. Frankly we won't win anything playing like this and anyone who thinks differently is blind or deluded.
Guardiola comes out and constantly quotes other team's transitions being too fast! WTF, it's him who decides to keep slow players, while those with guile or pace have long gone. He's the 1st coach also in 5 years not to make a bloody substitution, yet Leipzig put on 4 or 5 fast fresh players. You don't have to be a football expert to realise that is extremely dumb!
The 90 point season were an exception, a two horse race, next season 4 teams at least are genuine contenders.Your answer is in your original post , clubs are closing the gap , the days of mid nineties or 100 points a season may be over.
Fact: We got the ball to Samaras and Vassell faster. This is a classic example of what people are talking about.
Some dickhead crams as much negative, brain-dead shite as possible into a comment and says that anyone who disagrees is a "Happy Clapper."
That's what this site has become.
A bit of both for me, some of our signings are a drop off from previous levels.
I am not criticizing clubs that spend, I am totally against the model of stopping owner investment , for me it's just wrong.
I welcome competition, it's stops complacency.
Yesterday again we allowed a team a second chance, the second leg is wide open and it simply should have been over after the first 45mins, how many times have we allowed that to happen?
No one should expect to win every game FFS but after the quality of football we have in previous seasons, this years is dull, uninspiring and a huge drop off.You can spot them a mile away, either utd fans or recent spoilt bastards. We have no right to win every game, we got an away draw at a good team and people are moaning! Try driving to reading away on a Wednesday night and getting beat 4-0, the true city fans are loving every minute of this ride.
