You do it once & they retreat normally anyway, it’s currently used as a surprise element, a bit like Eddies long kicks, we also don’t normally fair well when we turn games into a slug fest, I can only think of the Arsenal result that has actually gone for us when doing that, we normally end up losing, then everyone calls us naive.
It’s also no secret that teams shared a dossier on Haaland early season looking at ways he can be stopped, which has worked to an extent, he now needs to adjust & so does the team, it will happen relax

Actually, I don't. We're dogshit to watch, and it won't happen this season unless some thunderbolt hits pep in the face that says "YOU CAN PLAY THROUGH BALLS AND IF THEY DON'T WORK ITS OK!", but i appreciate your positivity - (which hasn't worked at all...but kudos for trying!)

Don’t think it’s an issue myself. Folk are questioning things because we’re simply not good enough just now. If things were great and we were playing scintillating attacking football, no one would be saying anything negative.

We were fantastic on Saturday and just couldn’t finish. One of our best performances.

Why do you watch City? Is it for entertainment or is it to watch the team that you picked or was chosen for you beat the team that wasn't chosen for you? It's evolved over time right?

Whether we win or lose matters the most to some, probably most people. But you want to be entertained right? You want to enjoy the spectacle? It's not JUST about the result?

Most people on here are mad, not because we're not doing well - they don't expect to win every game - we've won a lot of them this season. People are mad because we have this group of players and manager who've produced this incredible football - and weve added the best pure goalscorer in 20 years - and we're fucking turgid to watch.

Its not about "entitlement" or "spoilt" or all these words that are just bandied about because they make other people see that you are a true city fan (not you hellocity personally...but you know what i mean). Its about watching a team that could do so much better, be so much shit.

I think people on here bitching is essentially the rogue voice from the stands shouting "COME ON CITY". They want more. Don't insult their fandom. They care just like you.

It’s impossible to produce that level of performance every single season. No team to ever exist plays to the level we have every single year. Teams have ‘bad’ seasons where they don’t win as much and the football isn’t as good. It’s just reality.

Unfortunately there isn’t a manager or team to grant you your wish of 1st place and amazing football every single season. Pep’s job during lulls is to pull the players through and get them to finish as high as he can with hopefully some trophies still to follow. You only have to look at history to show how hard it is to do what Pep is pulling off right now. Most PL managers since 2009 are sacked the year after winning the title, whereas Pep has us very much in the race for a 3rd in a row!

If your reaction to our players and manager not being at their best after all the success and amazing moments is to instantly take this stance then it says more about you as a person than anything else.

We stuffed Arsenal on their midden , played Forest off the park and dominated a German team that has only lost once in 20 games in their back yard , if that is our season falling apart , then roll on May.

You might be right. I have no interest in being right. I have an interest in how i feel and how other people feel. These posts that we put on here are just us talking. So whether in 10 years you were right or i was right will be irrelevant. It will be the fact that they existed that will be interesting. In the end we both want the same thing.
