My view is that Hughes should have been sacked straight after this game, a blind man could see we were never going to cope with Lennon with the line up Hughes put out that night. I remember Andy Gray on SKY saying before the game that with City's team he knew exactly what Spurs would do, and they did exactly what he said they would and we were 3-0 down before Hughes changed it.

Our worse performance and we owe Spurs for it.

City often lost goals for a same team in the same way , as Stroke v CITY, the two lost goals in two near matches occurred for the long throws from Stroke players.

the team from that night to now is completely different, confidence, our back 4, our ability to actually play the game, and a manager who knows what he's doing.

I still have nightmares about that game!!! As I was walking out of the ground after the Hull game I had made up my mind that Mark Hughes had to go. I really wanted him to be a success but thought after Hull that he had had his chance. Then the Spuds game and I could have cried, everyone and their dog could see what was happening, yet he sat there and did nothing about it. As was said earlier, the club should have sacked him the following morning and avoided all the negativity that went with waiting till the weekend.
We are a different side altogether now, My only concern is that Harry spiv , knowing that a draw will be a good result for his team will come and park the bus in front of goal and say to us score if you can!! 0-0 is no good to us!!!
