What I like about that is you can tell he speaks perfect English but slightly accented, until he swears..at which point it's pretty much Manc.
I mostly agree with the 'never go back' view but I would dearly love for him to prove himself as good enough to come back here. Can you imagine the scenes if he led us to silverware as our manager?
