Garrido, how is he going to cope with valencia im more worried about this than shrek playing for them

This was exactly what is was thinking about the other day! Valencia is really tricky, turning inside running into the box or getting right to the byline and getting decent crosses in. Its crucial we either attack so hard down that flank with bellars or he helps defend.
According to sources bridge isnt fit until end of the month...
Cant barry play left back?

Our real weakness will be midfield, De Jong will sit back, play will end up in our third for long periods. I wouldn't worry about Garrido!

To be honest, I was trying to think who has been our most improved player over the course of this season, and Garrido's got to be up there. He's come on leaps and bounds.

Garrido played against Valencia at Old Trafford in the cup semi, he wasn't that exposed, granted he wasn't comfortable either, but like someones already stated, Zabaleta is back this weekend, he can slot in there and do a job.

bridge will play hopefully . imo garrido should be nowhere near this city team hope he gets sold in the summer

We were left woefully exposed for Brum's goal the other day, and that was the fault of Garrido. He failed to see Jerome making ground and by the the time he did the ball was in the net. If he fucks up like that against the rags we're going to have a torrid time of it.

What about Toure fucking up for the goal last weekend, just as capable of calamity but only in moments of madness. Our weakness is in midfield as it leads to long pieriods of sustained pressure, IMO if he plays De Jong & only one other in the middle we'll get pushed back for too long in the game.

Nothing wrong with the lad, spent a lot of time in the reserves without a bad word to say about the club, good squad player imo.

Still nice to see player bashing is the top sport on here.

Not bashing Javier at all. Just pointing out that if he plays you can bet your life the tyrant will have seen his mistake and try to exploit this apparent weakness with Valencia.

Whoever plays on Saturday is going to have to give 100% commitment and not allow their concentration levels to drop for one nano-second.
