How is he better than Mbappe?

I actually wrote about this in the Mbappe thread after the france game.

He's much better as a playmaker, as a wide man and as a dribbler.

However he's got nothing like the clinical ability to just outright score goals like Mbappé does. If Dembele can find that scoring touch, he could be a much more rounded and possibly better player than Mbappé, but it's a massive IF that many players before have failed to convert into 30+ goals a season.

That's why Mbappe is being talked about as a £120m guy and Dembele £80m - it's more of a gamble.

I think they are more or less equal in terms of talent, but have different skillsets, play different roles.

If we signed Mbappé or Dembélé give it six months and they will be saying "overrated, this other kid has way more potential" once we have a player and get used to them it seems to me it's always the case of the grass is always greener... for some.

Jesus could eclipse them both IMO they each have their differences though(if only we could have them all), Jesus hasn't really had long in Europe to prove himself yet in fairness that's the only difference, lets see how he does with a full season in the PL and the CL under his belt(I'm still really excited about him personally as are most of Brazil which says it all). I think if Sané had finished the season like he did for us we'd be talking alot more about him too as one of the potential toplist players of the future.
