WHAT ABOUT THIS "QUINTUPLE" THEN THAT THEY WERE GOING TO WIN?
They might point out that the did win 3 out of 5, but let's look at it in it's true context.
The premiership - fair enough, but they only have 3 other clubs to worry about.
Carling Cup - Doesn't count if anybody else wins it, but when THEY do it is a BIG trophy to win
And the "biggest" one of all - The FIFA World Club Championship - Let's be honest here, apart from the South American club that they beat in the final, anyone in the premiership - even Newcastle - could have easily won that. But seeing as it was 'Nited, they have the excuse "Well, we're the club champions of the world!!!" They will rub that everybody's faces now.
