I'd give us 6.5

I always thought Spuds would be a hard game but if we have the real ambitions that the team and Mancini keep stating such as winning the prem then you need to be beating teams like sunderland who had started rubbish.

Instead of building on the liverpool performance we now have all the average prem teams believing we can be beaten away from home.

We also look less creative than last season. Would prefer us to look a more attacking formation against the likes of Sunderland.

If spuds had beaten wigan then our start would look even worse than it does.

Still expect us to play a little better when silva settles in and start playing more
 
League: four good halves, 2 bad= 6.66R/10.

Europe: bearing in mind the opposition, I'll give a 6/10.

Like my old school reports used to always say, "OK, could do better".
 
I would go 7.5 on a basis of the optimism I have - which would have been higher if we had not conceded on Sunday
 
Results wise 5 or 6. About what we should expect given the changes being made.

Positives - the switch from 4-4-2. Yaya looks a much better player than I expected, Milner looks a good signing the centre backs are playing much better than last year. The defense looks generally sound.

Negatives - the injuries, how we seemed to lose our way in the 2nd half at Sunderland.

For me though the big question mark is Silva. He's clearly a very skilful player, if he makes an impact we could have a big season. The issue is whether he can adapt to the PL. I must admit I was quite shocked when I saw him in the flesh for the first time, isnt he tiny? My big worry is that he'll turn out to be another Robinho, a very skilful player that just isnt strong enough for the PL. He was certainly bullied when he came on on sunday, hope thats just a question of him adjusting to the speed of the PL.

look to defensive and we dont look like we are capable of a plan B...

RM is too rigid in the way he sets his team out..im hoping when Kolorov and boeaang return we might see the team play with more attacking intent but at the moment we should be playing in a different way
