Dismal's Sense of Humour Lessons. I bet they were a Christmas best seller!

I sort of agree with your point though!
His point being he doesn't think there's a problem with the advert and those who think there is are 'fucking clowns' and 'lemons'.
I've not seen it but can imagine its like the rest of the shite on BT sports, pandering to the masses, neither here nor there in the scheme of things. Does that justify coming on here and slagging off anyone who didn't like it though? Nah, not really. My only surprise was the lack of PMSL at the end..

never misses a chance to slag off City fans though does he the fucking muppet

He could quite easily be mistaken for either Stadler or Waldorf ! (assuming you know who they are mate ??)

He could be both, he comes across as a bit schitzo, at times ;-)

This thread made the national press on an extremely slow news days.

You fucking clowns. No doubt the same lemons constantly whinging about some perceived agenda. Football idiocy at its purest.

My suggestion to BT would be a snowball fight to settle this. A select 10 Bluemooners (or dirt dozen) to take on the rag choir!

Back to the point, I've seen the video a few times and it is a bit of a liberty. However, the more the media see us whingeing about a joke the more they are likely to target us.

ok .... hands up ... how many that are moaning over nothing have had to give up smoking or the drink? lol

its not-Anit-Man City".

The only reference in the advert that references Man City is the part with the Poznan, that is quite funny.

The "Old man" song is an Aston Villa song and Brum City fans should being taking offence to it (if they can't see the funny side).

if you are just hating BT for the sake of hating BT then don't drag the good name of Man City down with you.

Have a happy new year .... or att least try to?!

Thought it was a reasonably decent advert for a change. But whether or not you find it funny is irrelevant really because it's simply not "outrageously anti-city" It's not anti anybody, People that moan about things like this are the type of people that write in to points of view and own a tin foil hat.

Hahaha no way is there a Telegraph article !

If you're reading hacks, here's the full song and links showing its rags not villa.

My old man said be a City fan,
And I said b****cks you’re a c**t,
I’d rather sh*g a bucket with a big hole in it,
Than be a City fan for just one minute,
With hammers and hatchets, stanley knives and spanners,
We will show the City b*st**ds how to fight (How to fight),
I’d rather sh*g a bucket with a big hole in it,
Than be a City fan,
Altogether now

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.trulyreds.com/chants/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.trulyreds.com/chants/</a>

Also, BT don't show the Championship so it definitely isn't about fucking Birmingham.

Don't understand this place, everyone gets paranoid about silly shit like how the highlights on MOTD are presented, yet this is all one big laugh ?

Have to say the song itself doesn't bother me, its rival banter, but putting it on a fucking nationwide advert that appears before the clubs official youtube videos is beyond taking the piss.

The only one taking the piss here is you...surely?

I get quite annoyed about that 'MEN United' prostate cancer charity ad. They think going off the back of those who cannot be named will gain them popularity. Not with me - quite the reverse in fact. They can fuck right off.

"Manchester City fans have complained about a BT Sport advert which shows Christmas carol singers reciting an expletive-laden song about the club.

The song, sung by Manchester United fans, is part of a promotional video which appeared on the broadcaster's YouTube channel.

It features carol singers gathering outside a man's house, apparently to sing traditional festive songs.

Instead, they sing football equivalents of the Christmas favourites, including a version of 'Jingle Bells' which celebrates the pleasure of seeing Chelsea win away.

At one point, the carol singers chant 'Let's all do the Poznan', a reference to Manchester City's trademark celebration.

But that has not prevented City's supporters from taking offence at the inclusion of the song sung about them by United fans, which features the words 'b-------', 'f---', and c---', all bleeped out.

On the club's MCFC forum, an internet messageboard for supporters, one fan says he plans to boycott BT Sport in protest, another calls it a disgrace, and an another accused BT Sport of "glorifying" United's dislike of City.

Some later posters said they were not offended and that the 'Poznan' section gave balance to the advert.

Some Arsenal fans were upset last summer when another BT promotional video appeared to revel in Arsenal's 5-1 defeat at Liverpool last season.
