Quite right.
That Martin Luther King,Nelson Mandela,Malcolm X bunch.
Nothing but racists.
They just couldn't let it go and move on,could they?

Turn the stick round.

Would you care to elaborate?
The folks I mentioned harped on about race because they were trying to redress the balance of hundreds of years of blatant prejudice and discrimination.
A state which is still far from fully remedied.
So maybe thats why black people still feel aggrieved.
Because they have every right to,as long as racism still exists.

My point is that if you see past GQ's typical generalisation he makes a fair point, if you take into account there's a world of difference between what those people rightly did that you mentioned and what's gone on in this thread.

Should black people feel aggrieved now? in some cases yes, but it's not exclusive to them. That isn't relevant to anything that's gone on in this thread though, which has typically gone the same way.

Not that I'm comfortable discussing this on the main forum, as I don't feel, as clearly shown by this thread, that things work both ways.

Can we keep this on topic and cut out the arguing and insults please.

Sorry stony, but I didn't see any arguing or insults, just a side issue regarding the perception of racism.
This did,I accept, take the thread somewhat off topic, and for that I apologise profusely,as this phenomenon has never happened on Bluemoon ever before.
Anyway,as you were - let's get on with the serious business of pulling apart women that most of us could never get a sniff of on our best day on this planet!

The thread was reported twice and a few things have been deleted.
