Owen Coyle

Honestly. Some of you lot are fucking retarded. Coyle over Mancini?

Given the gulf in class of the players at their disposal, only the most biased of posters would Argue that Mancini's doing a better job.

Jesus christ.

He's done well with Bolton, really, credit to him and good luck. But he finished 6th with Burnley in the championship, kept Bolton up, and now they're in the top 6, like Sunderland, so is Steve Bruce a genius too?

He's a good manager, doing well with what he has at his disposal. But, to be honest, it wasn't hard to improve Bolton after Megson. 10 players were already there, Holden was his best bit of business, and he makes that team.

If he finishes 5th with Bolton, wins the FA Cup and wins at least 2 games at either COMS, Stamford Bridge, Emirates or Old Trafford...then, then he's the 'real deal'.

Be quiet.

He's doing a great job at the moment but it's a bit of a myth that they play great football. Sure, they do in spells, but they still rely an awful lot on long balls to Davies.

Coyle's a promising manager who's doing a very good job at Bolton. However you're pre-supposing that Coyle has the ability to handle the very best players, it doesn't always work like that.

Thank fuck for that...I had to go through 5 pages to find someone else who thought the same.

Their tactics against us were no different to Allardyce's.

Big lump up to the big lump.

I will always support English and British staff at my club but admiration has been poured on many before who have settled into lower league managerial jobs.

A jock who has won nothing so who are the half wits promoting him apart from his parents and family.

Owen Coyle is a good manager. You would expect any team he looks after would avoid relegation and maybe just hope to scrape into Europe. Is that what we want for City.

If you want success at City you have to go for a coach with a proven track record. Roberto fits that bill. If he ends up leaving City, it wont be because he's a poor manager. Look at Jose Mourinho leaving Chelsea, nobody said he was a failure.

Said it here a few weeks back this man is the real deal. Did a great job with Burnley and look what's happened to them since. Has been fantastic at Bolton, his sides are well organized and play good attacking football. He's now premier league proven and could do wonders with the resources. IF RM was to go I'd have him.

agree with everthing you say except i would'nt have him if bob went, he's far too early in his career to attract the calibre of player that we will be looking at.

There's a huge difference between avoiding relegation and scraping in to Europe. You avoid relegation by not finishing 18th or below and get in to Europe by finishing in the top third of the table.

Stoke won't get relegated but they'll do well to qualify for the Europa.

He's a mark Hughes type manager no pressure just stay in the league! Lets see where Bolton are at the end of the season
