Seems you can buy them for around 15k an acre depending on which part of the country. Sounds a good idea, cutting some trees down to sell as firewood, charging for wild camping, woodcraft and dogging etc.
You are allowed to build a cabin or site a caravan but apparently you can only live in it for 28 days a year, but I doubt that could be enforced somewhere remote. I'm seriously looking into it anyway, could be a good investment as they increase in value and they are exempt from capital gains tax.

So we’ll have our own Amazon woodlands.

Not named after the river, but the company that’ll buy them all.

There are a lot of people living in Woodland, they’re nuts. They can’t live in National Forest but there’s plenty of Woodland to live. The whole west is a tinderbox, I don’t think they should be allowed any insurance but hey ho, what do I know?
