Oxford (a) post-match thread

Oxford defended like most PL teams do against us. They broke quickly and caused us one or two snags by not shutting them out quicker.
I thought we were quite lethargic at times, letting them get fully settled before we try to go forward.
Nice to see the younger lads getting a full game, there’s no other way to do it.
We have to defend smarter v Leicester or we will get pumped.
 
That bollocks from Cancelo was a bit embarrassing.

Decent run out for a few, more experience for the younger ones and Zinchenko looked good. A few others not so much.
 
Foden's problem is he plays with quite a few selfish players. He needs more time on the ball.
 
Oxford deserve a lot of credit. They were impressive in possession, created some good chances and the scoreline probably flattered us in the end.

Bravo and our centre backs were good but most of our players were poor.

Cancelo hasn’t exactly endeared himself to our fans.
 
Was that match any better online than it was live

Job done. Oxford had a real go on a wet and windy night. Nice to see Garcia and THB doing well. Iffy at times but into the semi we go.
