very surprised by your team .....well done lads..onwards & upwards for OxfordWhat a cup tie thought we were magnificent 2nd half and very proud of the performance and frustrated aswell, if only we had got that 2nd goal then who knows what would of happened, you showed us the utmost respect, if only we had a raheem sterling. Nice touch from city laying a wreath behind the goal before the game.....top club top manager top fans hope you win it now all the best.........now for our promotion push.
It's so stupid because he's alienated his own fans in the process, there wasn't even any needle in the game that I saw.He deserved a right slap for that. I guess he picked up some tricks from CR7 after all.
Good luck, a team who play that way deserve their rewards, great to see a side giving it a proper goWhat a cup tie thought we were magnificent 2nd half and very proud of the performance and frustrated aswell, if only we had got that 2nd goal then who knows what would of happened, you showed us the utmost respect, if only we had a raheem sterling. He snidely kicked out at an opponent first then feigned injury, wasn't great. What did Cancelo do that was so bad? - guessing he was feigning injury?
Or that when the ball goes to him it either gets coughed up easily or he runs 40 yards backwards and plays a hospital ball to a centre half?Oxford played well but that's because we only did the minimum
I don't understand why we don't use Mahrez more and it frustrates the life out of me, especially in a game like tonight where he was ghosting past his marker. Is it that we always just aim to play down the left, or that Mahrez isn't in space for the ball?
He is one of our most talented players and we need to get more out of him around the opposition penalty areaOr that when the ball goes to him it either gets coughed up easily or he runs 40 yards backwards and plays a hospital ball to a centre half?
Hate that, looks like we have another kolarov in our midst. We’re through and a few kids got a game and did well. That’s about all the positives you can take from that. The same players in the same positions keep putting in anonymous performances and were not even creating chances against oxford, And that’s no disrespect to them, they put up a really spirited fight. How long does this continue before pep changes more than a like for like rotation?
Along with the attacking deficiencies, we also saw the defensive frailties from Rodri again. THB will be expecting to do better for their goal, he’ll know that and I’m not going to slate a 17 year old kid who was otherwise excellent again for that but can’t help but think if that’s fernandinho in the holding role and not Rodri he gets himself into a position to make a tackle/block whereas Rodri is just a few yards further back out of the game.
it was noticeable a few times before their goal too. One instance I recall Rodri lost the ball in midfield(it wasn’t his fault, it was a terrible pass slightly behind him) but within seconds he was doing a casual jog back straight from the gundogan school of waddling and by the time their player carrying the ball from the centre circle reached the edge of our box Rodri was about 10 yards behind play that passage summed up exactly why we’re getting murdered on the counter attack.
My response wasn’t about RJ goals it was about the other 89 minutes, where the poster had said he had a MOTM performance!Usually- and it's generally warranted- folks here moaning about our wasted chances. If they're going in and it results in a win I don't care if they're bouncing off Jesus' arse.

All the best
I’d love to know why the club felt compelled to buy Cancelo. Regardless of the incident he was shite. He lost his man so many times and whoever it was on their left when past him with ease each time. At no point did he block a cross from coming in and most of their threats came down his side. We could’ve spent that cash on a centre half, which was a much greater need.
