If I remember correctly, Madrid paid around £15M for Ozil but he only had a year left on his contract at Werder Bremen. Not sure about his salary. Think he and Khedira cost a combined £26M.

If Silva played fr Madrid, Ozil would not get a look in.

I would go as far in saying he will probably the best assist machine in La Liga.

Both similar players, But Silva edges it.

Iniesta plays a more deeper attacking playmaker role, if he played for us let's say in a more attacking role, I can see him topping assists chart left, right and center - Iniesta is probably the best European midfielder since Cruyff in my opinion.

I'm sure he just likes to rebel against the Bluemoon status quo. Very little to do with the actual subjects of discussion. If 95% of a thread is leaning one way, he seems to pop in and lean the other.

In Silva's position there simply isn't anyone who is 'miles better' than him. You can argue it one way or another, but it's not clear cut.
