Pablo, Sergio & Martin v Edin? Who do you choose?

On a personal note with City at the forefront, the sooner Argentina get knocked out the sooner the three amigos can come home and play for City. If however as expected they reach the final which is in the middle of July and then they have their 4 weeks off we will be lucky to see any ready for the start of the season.

I've never been much of an England fan - being too partisan to fervently support any other team (usually there's an England manager I don't like or a few players I object to) so I get behind the Irish, Scottish & Welsh teams, and most of the other underdogs at tournaments like this.

Whilst seeing Kompany win something would have been fantastic there's also the 'David Luiz/Marouane Fellaini' factor, where you never want to see such objectionable players winning anything, but flitting around with various teams (wanting them to do well in this tournament) with Argentina & three of our squad competing I hope to hell Pablo Zabaleta gets a winner's medal today.

there's no one I can think of who would deserve it more, and with Martin & Sergio also there it would be phenomenal if they can give Brazil one more black eye and pop the German's onion bag.

(with apologies to Fernandinho - whose salvation I hope is winning another clutch of club medals very shortly)
