I love zab i think hes a very good right back and extremely underrated , very good in the tackle and goo going forward aswell . However , he would now be my second choice right back after boateng who has impressed me during the w/c . But i really rate zaba and i think he may be 25 so loads of time yet , could become one of the best in the world maybe (highly doubt this) ;)

I know this is more a reflection on the tosser that is Marradona but i think it speaks volumes he rather play a left sided championship player in the national side then a right sided prem player

the fact that he puts 100% in isn't enough
every RB and LB must be able to go in attack and at least cross normally,and some players even score
for example Maicon or Riise they all can go in attack
only defending isn't enough
His pace, tragectory and length of cross are all better than Sweeps (noticably)

He can play either side, he would have been a vast improvement on any of the RBs Argentina had in S.Africa.

Fraid i have to agree.
There are plenty of comments on here already about his tackling, but for me the main problem is that his passing/distribution is absolutely average.

I agree Liam. I don't recall watching him at any time where I was impressed but can recall him giving up numerous needless free kicks. Amazes me that people want Ireland gone cause he's crap but rave about this guy cause of......not really sure to be honest.
