WTF do Sky sport news keep putting Zabaleta in the players not wanted/leaving category with Bellamy, Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Tevez, Bridge and Onuoha?

Because they know fuck all.

Absolute hero and a massive fan favourite. Legend.

I still can't believe he lived in Didsbury 'til recently, drinking in the pubs, shopping and mixing with the locals.

An absolute star!
Guessing he's out in Cheshire now, terrorising the horsey set!

Think he has moved but read in an interview that he still coms down to get his fish on a friday (presume evans the fish mongers). next time I'm buying a black pudding in the butchers I'll ask if they sell Argi meat. Hopefully it wont turn into a league of gentleman Hilary briss conversation.

Have you got any of the special stuff Hilary?

I need to be very careful how I put this because I don't wish to upset any other blues who have watched and been just as impressed with Zabaleta as I have myself. But I don't think a lot of people realise just what an absolute diamond we have found here. This guy was immense last season. Absolutely dominated Scholes during the semi final and ended the season with more scars on his face than Young Frankenstein. Never moans, always performs. If they are proclaiming Gary Neville as the best full back of his generation where does this place our Zabba?

I'm sure that Aguero will have few problems adapting if he embraces life this country .... as Zabaleta , Silva and Roberto Mancini clearly have.

You have to at least make an effort with the language , and Mancini himself has made huge strides with that when you consider how 'limited' it was upon his arrival here .

Tevez has been his own worst enemy , and you really can't expect to be happy in a foreign land if you don't make an effort to mix in ....... and Zabalata has been top class in that aspect , as was Uwe Rosler too , durin' his days here.

Zab will be Kun's minder !

I wonder if Zab can turn his hand to baby sitting whilst Aguero takes his missus out to one of Manchesters two restaurants?

I completely agree. Kun seems to have a lot of respect/friendship for Zab. Most importantly, I think Pablo and his Girlfriend will help Kun's wife adapt to Manchester.

Most importantly, Kun said he doesn't like hot weather. He is alright with me for that statement!

Zaba came to one of our supporters club meetings last season and was an absolute gent stayed longer than he should have, spoke excellently about everything, posed for every picture he was asked to and signed autographs for everyone, what an absolute legend!!!

Oh and by the way his missus was FIT!!!!!!!

Thought the same - they really don't have a clue do they. Mind you Didi Hamann really has found his level at Stockport aswell.

Was?

To be honest we all know what Zab can bring to the team and it wouldnt shock me to see him playing a key role in the team over the coming season. Might even end up seeing him play in midfield if need be. He must be brilliant for the Spanish speaking players in the squad and helping with the language while they settle into the club. Along with De Jong and Kompany the 3 of these lads love the club and it would be great to sort all 3 out with new contracts. Zab may not start a lot of games but when he gets a chance he is a whole hearted player that the fans love to bits.
