Pablo Zabaleta

Whilst I may well be getting more emotional in my older age, I just watched Zab on YouTube. Some of you may have seen the clip, it's the one where blues are reading poetry about him, he is hiding behind a curtain, and then mid poetry he comes out to surprise the poets.
At the end of the video, a very young blue, with "mini Zaba" on the back of his shirt starts to talk about Pablo. Pablo comes out from the curtain and.....well watch the you tube clip for yourselves... as I said earlier, I may be getting emotional, but it's really hard not to watching this clip. Zab epitomises everything we want from our players. He is humble, tough skilful, committed and very very obvious as blue as we are. If you haven't seen the clip I am waffling on about, have a look.. see if you are as touched as I most certainly was
Pablo Zab. Once a blue always a blue !!

He is the man and always will be.

Yep, made me cry that vid.

We've really taken to the fella. A real 100% er. Unfortunately rumours are he won't extend his contract after this season. Wants to go to Italy. Hopefully Fredericks can take over his mantle. But I'd love him around our club. Sadly not to be

If it’s any help, I can tell you that Mick Channon & Trevor Francis were both right stroppy c*nts back in the day, and are still, up to press, the only two city players to ever refuse me an autograph.

Trevor Francis told me off for running across Maine Road to his car to get his autograph.... ****

I believe that he may well end up back at City in some role. It would certainly be a very popular move with the fans if that happens. Good luck for the season except when you play you know who.....haha!!.

I've met him a few times when I worked on BA never to much trouble to chat and have a pic, sergio on the other hand not as friendly Seems like a chore to him : ) love them both though
One of my distant relatives used to play in the city youth team, he said the nicest guys were Toure and Zabaleta and Aguero was a proper n*b lol.

You soppy fucker. What's up with you? Man up, FFS.

;-)

Why has he not got a pitch named after him?! I'm still gutted about this. Top man, by all accounts and he deserves a training pitch, if not more.

Seen him with his Mrs and little one, not long since it had been born, in the club shop, getting some stuff. I love the guy.
Re-pitch, could it be he’s been told there’s a job for him when playing days over, therefore no need for permanent recognition just yet. Just a thought

Mini zabba .Fuck never seen that before where’s the hankies:) that’s why we love him don’t have to say anymore

He needs to get his priorities straight. As a professional footballer with a season ongoing, what would his manager think of that? Manuel should...... What a blue. What a pair of blues. Rejoice in the rejoicing of other blues. Zabba, he is the man
