Really do think we are in desperately in need of a rapid attacker.

The arsenal game yesterday highlighted this for me.

Although it was a great and hugely important win, I think if we had a fast attacker , either running from deep or up front we would have won by a big big margin.

The amount of time we had the ball and there were acres of space in behind the arsenal defence, and we couldn't play the ball in behind because we don't have that option.

I really do rate tevez and dzeko but they don't give us that option.

Sergio does to a certain extent, but imagine a bale or even a lennon bursting through.

Yaya would have made a significant impact as well yesterday , but I just feel that pace is something that is lacking and we could do with addressing it sooner rather than later.

Would give us so much more of a threat away from home against the better teams, who will put us under pressure and pin us back on occasions.

Yep , a pacy striker would certainly aid the quest .... and one that could finish a bit better than Tevez attempted to preferably !

The ideal acquistion would probably be Michu , but they're asking silly money for him ....

But realistically we could have had four or five goals yesterday .. Aguero should be back in the next couple of weeks , and i really can't see Mancini adding to the squad right now ..... January's almost halfway through and he shows little sign of doing so anyway.

think it may be something that needs addressing in the summer.

needed it last summer but unfortunately didn't happen

FFS, our players have plenty of pace, it's the tactics that Mancini has imposed. Why is this so hard to understand? We just don't play direct, quick build up kind of football. Aguero and Tevez both have plenty of pace. Even if you had the roadrunner out there it wouldn't help if the system doesn't fit.
